Your story matters

Share what your road has looked like

Not because it was inspiring or had a happy ending, but because it was real. You don't need a resolution. You don't need to be okay. You just need to have lived it.

Where this is up to

Submissions aren't open yet, so there's no form on this page. Everything published under a community byline today came in before this route existed; when the form lands, this is where it will be.

What we'll commit to

You choose your name — real or a nickname, entirely up to you

We read every submission and respond personally

Nothing is published without your explicit sign-off

You can ask to remain anonymous at any point

Partial stories are welcome — you don't have to have reached the end

What gets published

Community pieces carry the writer's own byline and sit alongside everything else on the stories index, tagged with the stage of the journey they describe. Anything covering loss carries a content note, shown on the card before anyone opens it.

Pieces written by us are marked as ours. That distinction is the only editorial hierarchy on the site — a first-hand account is not a lesser thing than a research summary, and the two are filed together on purpose.
